Set up your salon and take your first booking.

How do I create my account?

Tap Get started, enter your email and a password, and you're in. There's no card required and no setup fee — you'll land straight in your dashboard ready to add services.

What should I set up first?

Add your services (with prices and durations), then your opening hours. That's all it takes for your booking page to go live — clients can book the moment those two things are in place.

Can I import my existing clients?

You can add clients by hand today, and we're building bulk import for the Team plan. If you've got a spreadsheet of customers, get in touch and we'll help you bring them across.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. BusySeat runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet or laptop — there's nothing to download. You can also add it to your home screen for an app-like feel.

Where do I find my booking link?

Your public booking page lives at a link you can share anywhere — pop it in your Instagram bio, your WhatsApp status or a text to a regular. Clients pick a service, a time and confirm.

Can clients book outside my opening hours?

No. Your booking page only ever offers slots inside the hours you've set, and it skips times you're already booked — so you'll never get a clash.

What details do clients give when booking?

They choose the service, pick an open time and leave their name and contact details. Everything they enter is saved against their profile so you build a client list automatically.

Can I turn online booking off temporarily?

Yes. Adjust or clear your opening hours when you're away and your page simply shows no available times until you set them again — no awkward bookings while you're on holiday.

How do I see my day at a glance?

Open the calendar and switch between month, week, day and agenda views. The agenda view lists your appointments in order — perfect for a quick check before you start the day.

Can I add a booking myself?

Of course. Create an appointment directly in your calendar for walk-ins or clients who call — pick the customer, the service and the time, and it slots straight in alongside online bookings.

Where do I keep notes about a client?

Each client has a profile with their visit history, notes and photos. Jot down their formula, preferences or anything you want to remember for next time — it's all private to your salon.

How do I reschedule or cancel?

Open the appointment from your calendar and edit the time, or remove it. The slot frees back up on your booking page automatically so someone else can take it.

How much does BusySeat cost?

It's free while we're in beta — no card, no trial countdown. See the full picture on our pricing page, including the Pro and Team plans that are on the way.

Will I be charged automatically later?

Never without you choosing to. When paid plans launch we'll give plenty of notice, and your free plan keeps working unless you decide to upgrade.

Do you take payments from my clients?

Not yet. Today you take payment in person however you normally do. Deposits and online payments are part of our Pro roadmap, and you can log what each visit was worth in the meantime.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes — there are no contracts. Stop using BusySeat whenever you like, and once paid plans exist you'll be able to cancel in a couple of clicks.
